RTE Late Late Toy Show viewers react to seven-year-old Garda Billy who is 'peak Kildare'

Late Late Toy Show viewers labelled seven-year-old star Billy as "peak Kildare".

The Kilcullen native stole tonight's show and delighted viewers around the country. He sported a stylish mullet, and when asked by Tubs to describe the haircut he wittingly said: "It's business at the front and party at the back".

Billy revealed that 'Denise' of Dee's Barbers cuts his hair, and insisted he wouldn't trust anyone else to go near his locks. The youngster also had kind words for his local Centra, saying it's his favourite shop due to their pasta bake.

The Lilywhite told Ryan that he wants to be a garda when he grows up because "my auntie is one and I'm really inspired by it". When asked by Tubridy what he wants to do when he's a garda, Billy simply replied: "Arrest people".

Naturally, he was then dressed up in a garda outfit and drove a mini garda car around the stage, much to the audience's delight. Irish Twitter proved to be major fans of Billy, and used the hashtag to show their support for the seven-year-old.

One said: "Billy from Kilcullen turning up with a mullet and a sign for Kilcullen is peak Kildare". Another added: "God I love this. This kid just described his hairdo as “business in the front , party in the back” on national TV."

A third Toy Show fan wrote: "He's a man on a mission in that mini squad car". Another said: 'Billy 'the mullet' Brady is cooler than any of us will ever be."

Meanwhile An Garda Siochana approved Billy becoming an officer in the future. They said: "A future Garda in the making. Garda Billy keeping the people of Kilcullen safe."
