RTE Late Late Show host Ryan Tubridy has confirmed that this year's Toy Show will take place on Friday, November 25.
Speaking on his RTE Radio 1 show this morning, Tubs announced that applications for the show are now open and youngsters can apply on RTE's website. The RTE presenter stirred up excitement among listeners, saying this year's show will be "very special".
"We are going to go large this year. I had a great chat about it last week, and it's going to be very, very special indeed," he said.

Tubs was joined in studio by Dublin star DJ Calum who rose to fame after he and his younger brother Jackson stole the nation's hearts during last year's show. Calum gave some advice to anyone who is considering applying, saying: "Just be yourself. Take your time. Have fun. And practice and make sure your video is ok! Even just a half an hour, fifteen minutes a day - that's all it takes."
Those interested in applying for this year's Toy Show can do so on RTE's website.
