The Late Late Show special Valentine's edition aired this evening, and love was in the air for one couple in particular.
Ryan Tubridy called the pair down from the audience to give tips on working together and being in a relationship, however, the segment quickly turned into a sweet proposal.
The pair from Mullingar took centre stage this evening as Ray got down on one knee for his long term girlfriend of three years, Claire.
Cameras were rolling and Ray said: “Clare, sweetheart, ever since the first day I met you I’ve known I loved you.
“You’re the best mother, you’re the best girlfriend a guy could ever have, and I adore you so much, and I love you to bits.
“We have done so much together, and I just want to do so much more together, so Claire, tonight I’m going to ask you to be my wife.”
She said yes and the crowd in studio went wild as did those watching from home.

“Well if that isn’t a Valentine’s special I don’t know what is. That was lovely, congrats you two.”

While a fifth person said: “How is she so flipping composed? I’d be sweating!!!!!!! #LateLate #LateLateShow.”
