RTE Late Late Show lineup for St Patrick's Day headlined by Kellie Harrington and Stephen Kenny

This week's lineup for The Late Late Show St Patrick's Day special has been revealed and will showcase the best of Irish music, sport and comedy.

First up is Olympic Gold Medalist Kellie Harrington who will chat with Ryan after being the grand marshal at the St Patrick's Day parade earlier in the day.

Harrington has just won gold at the prestigious Strandja tournament in Bulgaria and is set to marry her fiance in the coming weeks, so it's all go for the Portland Row native.

Republic of Ireland manager Stephen Kenny, fresh from signing a new contract will join Ryan to talk about his hopes for the future of Irish football.

Laughs will be provided by comedian and impersonator Oliver Callan who will celebrate Paddy's day with some well known Irish voices.

Music will be performed by Moya Brennan and the group Clannad, who are preparing for their farewell tour after decades in the music industry.

Paul Noonan of BellX1 fame will also perform, as will Persian/Irish group Nava who in what will be their debut on the Late Late.

Throughout the night, Irish people celebrating Paddy's Day around the world will phone in to share messages with friends and family.

Last but by no means least, the St Patrick's Day Award will be presented on the night to the victims of the war in Ukraine.

"I am very excited about our show on St Patrick’s night. We look forward to welcoming everyone from right around the world on RTÉ Player where we will be raising a glass or a mug to everyone who calls Ireland home. We are all family, and we will gather together to remind ourselves of why we love being Irish," Ryan Tubridy said.

The Late Late Show airs on RTÉ One on Thursday, March 17, at 9:30 pm.
