RTE Late Late Show line-up this week includes Succession actor Brian Cox and TradFest

This week's jam-packed RTE Late Late Show line-up has been confirmed, with Succession star Brian Cox to lead the show.

Hollywood star Brian, who plays media mogul Logan Roy in the hit drama, will join Ryan Tubridy for a chat about his Irish links and his career. The legendary Scottish actor burst onto the big screen in the 1980s when he starred as the original Hannibal Lecter in Manhunter.

Cox has followed up a successful career with roles in Braveheart, The Bourne Identity, Troy, and in recent years he has been lauded for his role as the overbearing patriarch in tv show Succession. He's previously won two Olivier Awards, an Emmy and a Golden Globe, while also earning a nomination for a British Academy Television Award and three Screen Actors Guild Awards.

Influencer Santis O’Garro will also be on RTE show to discuss how she went from a single mother facing massive debt in 2018 to clear her debt completely within a year will with zero financial training. She will also discuss why talking about finances is still such a taboo subject in Ireland and offer some tips to help others struggling amid the cost of living crisis.

Ryan will also delve into the history of items from the National Museum of Ireland, with museum director Lynn Scarff set to tell him all about how these objects tell the story of modern Ireland. Friday night's music will come from a wide variety of Irish artists ahead of the upcoming TradFest Temple Bar celebrations with performances from Mike Hanrahan, Aoife Scott, Tommy Hayes, Frankie Gavin, Aisling Lyons, Sorcha Costello, BLÁNID, BRÍDÍN, Segun Akano, Niwel Tsumbu and Steo Wall.

Also, Ryan will welcome back Toy Show stars Cuckoo's Nest for a performance as well as a catch-up after they burst onto screens in November.

The Late Late Show airs on RTE One and RTE Player tomorrow night at 9.35pm.
