The line-up for The Late Late Show's country music special has been announced and includes big names such as Daniel O'Donnell, Nathan Carter, and Cliona Hagan.
Joining Ryan will be a host of Irish country musicians as Daniel O'Donnells sister Margo, Philomena Begley, Derek Ryan, Claudia Buckley, TR Dallas, Trudi Lalor, Johnny Brady, Clodagh Lawlor, Niamh Lynne, Olivia Douglas and Chantelle Padden round out the stellar line-up for Friday night.
Host Ryan said: "This Late Late Country Music special will be my final one at the helm. It all started out really when I was not long in the job as the presenter of The Late Late Show and when driving around the country, I kept seeing posters of gigs of different country stars and it was a world that I wasn’t familiar with. "I quickly learned that it was a world that brought people together and while I will miss seeing everybody on an annual basis, I have made a lot of friends in the country music world, and that has been my privilege.”
Toy Show sensation teen Caillin Joe from Tyrone, who Ryan described as: "a huge country star of the future, if not now" will perform a Glen Campbell classic.
Daniel, Cliona, Philomena, and Nathan will be unveiling an exciting project they have been working on recently exclusively on The Late Late. They will also be paying tribute to the man who started it all, Ireland's king of country music: Big Tom.
One country music legend will be inducted into the 'Irish Music Hall of Fame' which was previously awarded to Daniel O'Donnell and Philomena Begley and one audience member is in for the surprise of their lives on this weeks Late Late.
From Irish original songs and modern tunes it will be an amazing show and you won't want to miss it. The Late Late Show is on RTE One this Friday at 9:35pm.
