RTE's Home of the Year returned to television screens last night and fans seemed to love the Dublin home that was featured.
While one Kerry property was praised for transforming itself into a stylish LA inspired home, one Dublin house burst onto the screen with its vibrant colours and maximalist design.
Actor Camille Lucy Ross is the owner of the house in north Dublin city which she renovated after purchasing it in 2017.
Explaining to judges and viewers that she enjoyed the process of combining a number of elements to work harmoniously with each other, some of the enviable features in Camille's house include a gorgeous bathtub and a stunning outdoor area.
"I would probably put myself in the maximalist category," she said on Tuesday's show.
"I love that I can sit in the bath and look out this big window and enjoy the yard. There’s lots of nature in here, lots of colour, natural elements, glam elements. Who doesn’t like taking a glamorous bath?
"Probably in some people's opinion I've gone too far. But for me, no."
Camille received a score of 24 from the judges.
One person said of Camille's home on Twitter: "This 2nd home is just beautiful! So much personality."
Another said: "Oh, I love the little Dublin house. Just want to roll around on the gorgeous tiles, taking all that colour and pattern in. It’s stunning!!"
Meanwhile judge Hugh Wallace announced: " Perfection, I love it."
Although Camille's house impressed the judges, it was a Kerry home with a Los Angeles feel that was first to make it through to the Home of the Year final.
Walking through the home, which is owned by Tony and Imogen McManus, Hugh declared himself "jealous" of the property.
"I think I’m a movie star," he joked.
The judges gave it a score of 26 which secured the home its place in the final.
Also on the panel this year is award winning architect Amanda Bone and award winning interior designer Sara Cosgrove, who joins the show for the first time.
