RTE First Dates viewers were all left saying the things after Thursday night's finale took an awkward turn for one couple.
All seemed to be going well with 60-year-old Dee and 64-year-old James until their date ended in disaster.
Dee from Westmeath said she was "looking forward to a really nice date and for someone, I can connect with."
While James seemed to be looking for a little more adventure, as he told an interviewer: "I want an angel and devil mixed up in one like a Swiss roll."
The two initially connected over their jobs in healthcare, with Dee being a GP with her own menopause clinic and James being a qualified healthcare assistant.
However, their common interests seemed to end there, as the two's differences became apparent as the conversation continued.
James spoke of his love of fitness and the outdoors, adding that he loves to hike in his spare time and cycle.
He told an interviewer: "Because I'm fairly active and fit, I would need someone that's probably... has a bit of pep in their step."
While Dee seemed to be ready to take a more relaxed approach to life after accomplishing much in her career.
She asked James: "Have you ever done a cruise?"
He replied: "No, they kind of have a reputation to be just old people."
Things went south from there, as James told an interviewer after the date: "She was a very nice person and very dedicated to her job, but she probably spends too much time at work and has forgotten to enjoy herself."
Dee also didn't see a spark with James as after the date, she said: "I don't think romantically again, but he's a great guy, and I would love to see each other again.
"We're different... so different!"
But viewers were left horrified after James agreed with Dee and added: "This might of inspired Dee to change a few things."
However, Dr Dee was unphased by the comment and instead calmly replied: "No. The only thing I need to do is walk a little bit more. I don't need to climb mountains. And I won't be told what to do either."
Viewers were delighted with her response as they took to Twitter to praise the doctor.
One person said: "Dr Dee is a legend, dedicating the later stage of her career to women's health! What a boss!"
A second said: "Your Man James is a bit of a dictator telling Deirdre shes forgotten how to enjoy herself".
While a third commented: "I felt so awkward at the end with Dee and James and I'm not even on the date".
"Well that was a disaster," a fourth simply said.
