RTE Dancing With The Stars contestant Matthew MacNabb has revealed he is seeing someone new after rumours swirled that he may be dating his pro partner Laura Nolan.
Speaking before his performance on Sunday night's show, the Love Island star said he met his new girlfriend whilst filming the competition but denied she is not his pro partner.
He told The Irish Sun: "I met my new partner because I was doing the show, but I'd rather not say anything else as it's still early days."
However, Matthew said he had offered Laura some dating advice after she confirmed she was single and wanted to focus on her career.
He said: "I think me and Laura are off the same mindset, focussed on our careers and what we want to do.
"The other things will fall into place. I wouldn't say I was her shoulder to cry on, but I know a lot about being single and told Laura do whatever is right for you.
"Modern Ireland is different from the old days. It's a lot more fluid. You don't have to rush into things, get married and have babies by age 25.
"These days there are so many things to do, so many people to meet. Right now the two of us are concentrating on the show."
Matthew also revealed that he had received several unsolicited nude photos from fans as they tried to woo him.
He told The Irish Sun: "Jesus Christ these women are upfront.
"I don't open them up to take a look because I'm a good Catholic boy but there are a lot of them coming in via my Instagram.
"I was popular with women before I even went on TV — but this is on another level!"
Matthew and Laura got off to a rocky start on Dancing With The Stars as the judges felt the Islander had more to offer, but the couple has since turned things around, even gaining immunity during dedication week.
The star credited his improvement to his pro partner, saying: "I grew up doing weights and it made me very rigid. But being coached by someone as fantastic as Laura has helped my movement to flow more. I've just really loosened up."
