An RTE presenter was left in tears after vicious slurs were heaped at her on the street.
Kate Brennan-Harding is a radio producer and broadcaster within RTE. She shared details of her distressing encounter on Twitter earlier this evening.
The producer explained she was holding seats for a post work celebration at a Dublin establishment. She was approached by three men, who wanted to take her seats.
Kate explained: I tell them I'm holding them and they ask "Are you a f*cking boy or a girl"? I told them there was no need to act like that."

The trio proceeded to launch further slurs at Kate. They jeered that she was a "fella" and "tr*nny" before eventually walking off.
Kate admitted she was left "shaking" following the ordeal. She confirmed no physical violence occurred but was left feeling intimidated after the onslaught.
She added in the brief video: "Everyone just walked by before they eventually walked off. I was left shaking and I burst into tears- I'm just so fed up of this sh*t."
Many people took to Twitter to share their sympathies with Kate. Several people agreed that verbal attacks were on the rise in Dublin.
Panti-Bliss wrote: "Awful to hear. Love and power to you Kate."
Another person added: "The world is becoming an increasingly hostile, ugly and scary place for LGBTQi+. I'm so sorry you have had this to deal with today."
