Sri Ram Sene founder and Hindutva leader Pramod Mutalik has criticised Leader of Opposition Siddaramaiah for his statement comparing the RSS and Al-Qaeda. He told journalists in Belagavi on Friday that the Congress leaders are earning the wrath of the people for their anti-Hindu stance.
“How can anyone compare the RSS with Al-Qaeda? Mr. Siddaramaiah should not do it. The RSS is involved in nation building, while Al-Qaeda is a terrorist organisation that is engaged in destructive activities. People like Mr. Siddaramaiah should realise this. Has the RSS been involved in any anti-national activities at any time? Do they not know what kind of activities Al-Qaeda is involved in? The Opposition leaders should answer these questions,” Mr. Mutalik said.
Mr. Mutalik criticised Al-Qaeda chief who is said to have praised Mandya-based student Muskan. The girl had resisted attempts by some boys to bully her over hijab.
“The Union Government should inquire into this. I have information that a Maharashtra MLA has gifted a mobile phone to Muskan. What is the source of that? What kind of data was loaded in that phone? That mobile phone should be seized. This should be investigated,” Mr. Mutalik said.
“Muskan and her father should be arrested to ensure smooth investigation,’’ the sene founder added.
