NEW DELHI: Rajasthan Royals completed their full squad strength of 25 after buying nine players in the IPL 2023 mini-auction in Kochi on Friday. West Indies all-rounder Jason Holder was the biggest buy for RR as they splurged Rs 5.75 crore for his services.
RR spent Rs 1.5 crore for Australian spinner Adam Zampa and Rs 1 crore for England batter Joe Root. They also bought the services of uncapped South African Donovan Ferreira for Rs 50 lakh.
RR also added five uncapped Indians in their squad too.
Overall RR spent Rs 9.85 crore in the auction to buy the nine players needed to complete the squad.
