Knickers, my a**e!
Royle Family star Ricky Tomlinson keeps getting pelted with undies on stage, just like Sir Tom Jones.
The actor is starring in the new musical Irish Annie and told GMB’s Ed Balls and Charlotte Hawkins: “The last show we done, we got seven bags of ladies’ underwear thrown on the stage. So every charity shop within a four-mile radius basically.”
He added: “The finale is like Glastonbury for OAPs. People come along and have the time of their life. People just want to sit down, be entertained and have a laugh.”
And, inevitably, throw their underpants.
Lizzo snuck booze into Grammys
This explains why all the top US artists love coming to perform at the BRIT Awards...
Lizzo had to sneak her own booze into the Grammy awards just a week earlier, to share a few bevs with Adele but had no such concerns at the London bash.
She told Heart radio : “You don’t have to sneak alcohol to the freaking BRITs.
“It’s just a bar for artists. It’s just a pub – we’re lit.
“It’s just a party. There was a whole bottle of tequila 1942 in front of my chair alone.” Lizzo stayed sober enough to perform while playing her affectionately named flute, Sasha.
Poor Sasha, she must have felt like a breathalyser.
Celebrities' Valentine's Day
Valentine’s day was a busy day for celebs – regardless of their relationship status.
Nicole Scherzinger and Thom Evans subtly let everyone know they are still together, amid rumours to the contrary, by announcing they are now the proud parents of this ridiculously giant teddy.
Former heavyweight boxing champ David Haye was especially busy, as he gushed over “beautiful queens” Una Healy and Siân Osbourne, apparently confirming speculation they are in a three-way relationship.
On the other end of the spectrum, Liz Hurley honoured the love of her life – er, herself, clad in nothing but white fur.
