Royal Mail is warning of disruption at ten of its delivery offices in the UK today as it continues to be hit by staff absences.
The postal service is blaming Covid -related self isolation, high levels of workers off sick and "resourcing, or other local factors" for the upheaval.
As a result, some places may not receive post six days a week as normal, the Royal Mail said on its website.
A total of 15 different postcodes are being hit by delays thanks to the disruption at the ten delivery offices.
It comes after Royal Mail warned how 56 of its delivery offices were experiencing disruption last week as customers complained they were receiving Christmas cards well into January.
Royal Mail was hit by service delays in 22 places back in December.
Despite a struggling service, Royal Mail reported pre-tax profits of £315million in the six months to the end of September.
A statement on the Royal Mail site reads: “Deliveries are operating as normal across most of the country today. We aim to deliver to all addresses we have mail for, six days a week.
“In a small number of local offices this may temporarily not be possible due to local issues such as COVID-related self isolation, high levels of sick absence, resourcing, or other local factors.
“In those cases we will rotate deliveries to minimise the delay to individual customers.”
It added: “We're sorry for any inconvenience and thank you for your understanding.”

The delays come after Royal Mail issued an urgent warning to customers following a spate of new scams.
The new delivery scam taking off across the UK impersonates the Post Office over text, using a clone website that the Post Office told Which? is "one of the most convincing clone websites we've seen".
In a report released by Which?, the site revealed that it has received more than 2,000 reports of delivery scams last year alone.
The scam, which typically targeted services like Royal Mail, DPD and Hermes, has recently moved on to the Post Office.
