The Royal Highland Show has returned for another year to showcase the best food, farming and rural life.
This will be the first time since 2019 that crowds will be allowed to gather in Ingliston for the show due to the pandemic.
Running for four days from June 23, the Royal Highland Show is celebrating its 200th anniversary. The first show was held in 1822 and has become the pinnacle of the agricultural calendar.

Along with a fantastic programme of music and entertainment, over 1,000 trade exhibitors and over 2,000 livestock competitors have entered into over 900 competitions (with over 6,500 animals). Tens of thousands of people are expected to visit and experience the best of farming and rural life.

Tickets for Friday June 24 and Saturday 26, have been signalled at having low availability, so if you want tickets, you best be quick.
Tickets are prices at £34.65 each and children can go free.
Where to park for the Royal Highland Show
The Royal Highland Centre is located next to Edinburgh International Airport and it has been confirmed that visitors need to pre-book their parking space this year.
Any cars without advance car parking tickets will not be able to park on site and will be turned away. To avoid disappointment, please buy your tickets in advance.
On site parking is available for over 6,000 cars. Save time and book your parking for the day you are attending the Royal Highland Show.

How to get there via public transport
You can get a single day tram return tram ticket to the Royal Highland Show from Edinburgh city centre and hop off at Ingliston Park and Ride. Visitors are reminded there is a bit of a walk to gate, so wear suitable shoes. You can buy tickets and see the route here.
You can also get an Adult Bus Return ticket for £7 with a number buses available. From Edinburgh City Centre, you can get the 98 bus from George Street. See more buses and routes here.
