The official new title of King Charles' wife, Camilla, has been heavily criticised by the British public in a brand new online survey.
During research carried out from March 24, 2023, until March 27, just 14 per cent of the public felt it was acceptable for Camilla to take on the title of Queen, reports the Mirror.
Following that, 36 per cent of voters believed that Camilla should stick to the title of Queen Consort, when her husband is crowned on Saturday, May 6.

However, 23 per cent of people who participated in the survey felt Camilla shouldn't be given a title at all, and 16 per cent believed that she should remain as the Duchess of Cornwall after the coronation.
However, according to official news by Buckingham Palace, Camilla will be known as the Queen following the coronation of King Charles III.
The news was first announced as the invitations to the ceremony were sent - meaning that seven months on from the death of Queen Elizabeth II, a new Queen will be crowned.
A senior Palace source said: "It made sense to refer to Her Majesty as The Queen Consort in the early months of His Majesty’s reign, to distinguish from Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II.
"'Queen Camilla’ is the appropriate title to set against ‘King Charles’ on the invitation. The Coronation is an appropriate time to start using ‘Queen Camilla’ in an official capacity."
The survey, carried out by Deltapoll, also asked a wider range of questions surrounding the monarchy. Research found that 51 per cent of people believe that the Royal Family will still be around in 50 years time.
More results found that just 23 per cent of people were actually in favour of the republic, with 46 per cent of people believing that Prince Andrew has done the most to damage the monarchy's reputation.
Prince Harry came in a close second at 43 per cent however, so it was a close competition. On the subject of the King's two boys, 71 per cent of people believe that William and Kate are the best role models, with just 14 per cent arguing that Harry and Meghan do a better job.
Almost three quarters of the public (73 per cent) feel that the Prince and Princess of Wale's children, Charlotte and Louis, should earn money when they are older by working.
79 per cent of people would cut Prince Andrew from the line of succession to the throne - with 64 per cent feeling the same for Prince Harry.
Overall, 64 per cent of those surveyed thought King Charles would go on to be a good monarch.
