Following the bombshell news that Prince Harry will be attending King Charles' Coronation next month, insiders claim he is likely to be snubbed by senior members of the Royal Family.
It is no secret that the Duke of Sussex has caused waves of controversy with the release of his tell-all Netflix docuseries and publication of his autobiography Spare where he delved into the dark corners of the monarchy.
There were various question marks hanging over whether the ex-working royal would make an appearance at the Coronation and leave US-based home in California.
However, Buckingham Palace put all rumours to bed by announcing earlier this week he will be part of the congregation inside Westminster Abbey for the historic event on May 6.
However, he is not expected to take part in either the King’s Procession or the Coronation Procession to and from Buckingham Palace, nor will he be on the famous balcony.
The Duke of Sussex will also be without wife Meghan Markle, who has decided to remain at home in California with their children, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet.
Now, new reports suggest Prince Harry will have just two allies within the Royal Family, with Princess Beatrice and Princess Eugenie - who have stayed close friends with their cousin and visited him in California - could be the only "exceptions".
Sources told the Daily Mail the royal family reportedly has "no interest" in talking to Harry "beyond the most basic of greetings."
According to insiders, Harry was very much aware that the historic occasion will be "pretty much the most important day" of King Charle's life and would regret having not attended the event next month.
Relations between the Sussexes and the rest of the royals are on thin ice, but Harry will now be forced to face the music following recent months of unfolding drama within the family on May 6.
It's claimed Prince William also has no desire to speak to his younger brother after admitting he has been hurt by his behaviour over recent months. The estranged siblings did not speak at the late Queen's Platinum Jubilee celebrations last summer and the pair barely conversed at her funeral.
The Duke of Sussex's arrival next month as he lands on UK soil will be "meticulously crafted down to the exact minute," according to reports in the Express as the pair will be sat so far apart that cameras will not be able to get a direct shot of them together throwing any potential hopes for some awkward glances or smirks caught on camera out the window.
Harry will cross paths with many people he and his wife Meghan have made controversial allegations against in both Spare and their Netflix docu-series.
Some of his worst backlash followed his comments on Queen Camilla, who he referred to as 'the Other Woman' in his book, claiming he once questioned if she would become his "wicked stepmother".
King Charles was said to be furious at how his son has spoken about his wife declaring he "crossed the line" with the comments made.
Harry has accused his father of being cold, revealing his parenting technique is to 'smother' his kids with 'love and affection', and claimed he "doesn't speak the same language" as the rest of the royal family.
The pair's relationship came under strain even further when Charles decided to kick Harry and Meghan out of Frogmore Cottage - the home which was gifted to them by the late Queen, to make way for the disgraced Prince Andrew.
An insider said: "It was the last straw. Harry was well aware how Camilla would be a red line for his father and he crossed with flagrant disregard anyway. The King felt without a doubt it crossed a line – it was the ultimate act of disrespect."
