People have shared their concerns for Prince George of Cambridge after he wore a suit to the Wimbledon men's final amid high temperatures. Accompanied by the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, George watched tennis stars Nick Kyrgios and Novak Djokovic battle it out on Centre Court. Both the eight-year-old and his dad William donned full suits despite highs of around 28C according to the Met Office.
Some fans of the royal family posted on social media to express worry that George would have an uncomfortable afternoon during the heatwave, Hull Live reports. Rachael said on Twitter: "Poor child having to wear a suit in this hot weather." Hilary agreed: "Poor Prince George in a shirt, tie and jacket in that stifling heat. Couldn't they let the kid wear a T-shirt?"

Carmen added: "Why do they dress him in a suit and tie and in this heat. He's a boy, not a grown up." And John wrote: "How ridiculous, Prince George in a dark suit and tie in this heat at Wimbledon."
Louise commented: "Poor Prince George having to wear a suit in this weather. At least let him take the jacket off." Miranda was concerned that George would be "boiling", while Ros wrote: "Please don't force George/men to wear jackets in the heat. It's ridiculous & uncomfortable."
Before the match Kate, a patron of the All England Club, and William greeted a group of military personnel who were working as stewards at the championship. When George was asked who he would support, William looked at him and whispered “Djokovic” before adding: “We’ll see how long it lasts. He’ll support the winner.”
Djokovic beat the Australian in four sets and allowed George to hold his trophy following the game. The young prince is known to be a keen tennis fan and has been having lessons on the court since he was five.
