India Oxenberg, a member of the royal family, has announced that she is pregnant with her first child with husband Patrick D’Ignazio. The 32-year-old shared her excitement about the news, expressing her initial disbelief and overwhelming emotions upon finding out about the pregnancy.
Oxenberg, the daughter of Catherine Oxenberg and William Weitz Shaffer, comes from a royal lineage, with her mother being a second cousin to King Charles III. Catherine, known for her role on Dynasty, has had her own share of experiences within the royal family, including portraying Princess Diana in a TV movie.
India, who has also pursued acting like her mother, was previously involved in the NXIVM cult, a chapter of her life documented in her 2021 memoir, Still Learning. Following her departure from the organization, she found love with chef D’Ignazio in 2018, leading to their engagement and subsequent marriage in 2020.
The couple has since relocated to Key West, where D’Ignazio operates his own restaurant, Eaton Good. Now, as they prepare to welcome their first child, India reflects on this new chapter as a chance for a joyful and fulfilling life, allowing her to move forward from her past experiences and embrace the future as a parent.
