Each of the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge's three children brought heaps of excitement with their arrival, with scores of Britons lining the streets outside the Lindo Wing or tuning into the news from home. Although it's hard to imagine them without George, Charlotte, and Louis - Kate and William were initially warned against welcoming baby number three into the world.
In 2017, Kate and William embarked on a tour of Poland and Germany. At the time of their trip, the Duke and Duchess only had two children, George, 4, and Charlotte, 2, reports MyLondon.
Whilst visiting Warsaw, the royal couple were gifted a baby toy. Kate reportedly turned to William and said: "We'll just have to have more babies!"

Not too long after Kate's playful quip to her husband in Poland, an open letter was addressed to the Duke and Duchess from children's organisation 'Having Kids'. Executive Director President Anne Green Carter Dillard wrote: "The example the British Royal Family sets is extremely influential.
"Your discussion of having a larger family raises compelling issues of sustainability and equity. Large families are not sustainable."
Anne also claimed that, although George and Charlotte were 'certain to have wonderful lives... the same can't be said of every future child."
Just under two months later, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge announced that Kate was pregnant with their third child. Despite the pair now having three children, a fan of the Royal Family once yelled out to Kate during a trip to Northern Ireland: "Number four?"
In response, the Duchess of Cambridge quipped: "I think William would be a little worried!"
Currently, the Cambridges are preparing for a huge change. Later this summer, the family will be relocating from Kensington Palace in London to Adelaide Cottage in Windsor. George, Charlotte and Louis will be enjoying a much quieter childhood away from the Capital, with the eldest two Cambridge siblings moving schools.

The family's new home is just a few minutes from St George's Chapel at Windsor Castle by foot. The four-bedroom home was picked out by Kate and William because they didn't want anything 'too showy'; the property's close proximity to the Queen's home, Windsor Castle, also played a huge part in the decision.
According to a source, the Duke and Duchess are keen not to have a home that needed renovating, unlike the Herefordshire estate which Prince Charles attempted to revamp for his eldest son for two decades before finally giving up last year. With the pair wanting a 'modest' home, they have made the decision to not hire any staff to live with them at Adelaide Cottage.
A source close to the family opened up to The Sun about their big move. They said: "Kate and William were very keen for a modest home to start their new lives in Windsor.
"Adelaide Cottage fits the bill because it is a four-bedroom home and they do not need any more as they have no live-in staff. They were adamant they didn’t want anything too showy or anything that needed renovating or extra security so as not to be a burden on the taxpayer."
