Royal family head to Christmas lunch with the Queen at Buckingham Palace

The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge were the first to arrive at Buckingham Palace for the Royal Family's Christmas lunch today hosted by the Queen.

Prince William rolled up with his son Prince George, who sat next to his father on a booster seat in the front of the car.

Kate drove the couples other two children, Princess Charlotte, four, and Prince Louis, one, in a different vehicle.

Prince Charles and Camilla, the Duchess of Cornwall, were also pictured attending the annual event in London.

However, there was no sign of the Duke and Duchess of Sussex, who are having a six-week break from royal duties to spend time with baby Archie.

The Duke of York arrived by himself for the traditional pre-Christmas lunch.

Mike and Zara Tindall went along to the get-together and Sophie, Countess of Wessex and husband Prince Edward, Earl of Wessex attended along with their children Lady Louise Windsor, 16 and James, Viscount Severn, 12.

Other Royal family members were also in attendance.
