Buckingham Palace has released two photographs from Archie Harrison Mountbatten-Windsor's christening, which took place at the Private Chapel in Windsor Castle on Saturday afternoon.
The celebration was an entirely private affair and is thought to have been attended by fewer than 25 people.
The images were taken by Chris Allerton in Windsor Castle's Green Drawing Room and the Rose Garden.
In one group shot, Archie is photographed in his mother's arms alongside the Duchess of Cornwall, the Duke of Sussex, the Duchess of Cambridge, the Prince of Wales, Doria Ragland, Lady Jane Fellowes, Lady Sarah McCorquodale and the Duke of Cambridge.
Archie is pictured wearing a handmade replica of the Royal Christening Robe, a garment that has been passed down the royal family for years.
In a second black and white image, just the royal couple and Archie are pictured. Meghan is captured holding her son while Prince Harry leans over him.
Speaking about being chosen to photograph the event, Allerton said: "I am honoured to take the official photographs at the christening of Archie Harrison Mountbatten-Windsor, and to once again, be part of such a special and joyous occasion for The Duke and Duchess of Sussex."
A Royal Communications spokesperson added: "The Duke and Duchess of Sussex are overjoyed to share the happiness of this day, and would like to thank everyone around the world for their ongoing support. They feel so fortunate to have enjoyed this special moment with family and Archie’s godparents.”
The ceremony itself was conducted in accordance with royal tradition, with the Lily Font and the River Jordan both used. The christening was officiated by the Archbishop of Canterbury, the Most Reverend Justin Welby.
Members of St George's Chapel Choir performed at the christening.
On Wednesday 3 July, a statement released by the palace confirmed that details surrounding the christening would be kept private.
The official notice also revealed that the identities of Archie's godparents would be withheld, as per the royal couple's wishes.
