Roy Keane warned Casemiro that he will be stepping into a disjointed dressing room at Manchester United prior to the win over Liverpool.
Confidence among the players will have risen significantly following Monday night's win, with United claiming their first points of the season and leapfrogging Liverpool in the table in the process.
The Reds travel to St Mary’s to take on Southampton this Saturday, when Casemiro could make his debut. The defensive midfielder, who has cost around £60m, was at Old Trafford to witness the victory over Liverpool.

And speaking pre-match, Keane warned the Brazilian that the United squad is, clearly, not as strong as Champions League holders Real Madrid.
“He’s a good signing, they paid a lot of money for him,” Keane said. “It’s a start but they need more, the problem is any player coming to Man United now, as good as they are, they’re coming into a bad dressing room and a bad group of players.
“The last year or two, they don’t want to run, they don’t seem a good group and that’s a problem for any player, however good they are.” Keane explained that while he thinks Casemiro is a good player, United’s big money punt on him shows “they’re desperate.”
He added: “You can look at the bigger picture and think it’s a lot of money, long contract, bit like [Christian] Eriksen getting a three-year deal. They’re [United] desperate and you’ve got to pay over the odds, I suppose.”
