Turner's Cross had a very special guest in attendance as Roy Keane took in Cork City's first game back in the Premier Division.
It wasn't to be a winning return however, as goals from Grant Horton and Jordan Flores gave Declan Devine's Bohemian's a 2-1 to begin the new season.
Keane is of course one of Cork's favourite sons and frequently attends inter-county hurling and football games involving his beloved Rebels.
The former Manchester United midfielder began his career in the League of Ireland with a side from Cork.
However, it was Cobh Ramblers and not City where the young man honed his craft.
The 53-year-old began his career at Cobh and spent one season at the League of Ireland club before moving to England and joining Brian Clough's Nottingham Forest.
