Former Manchester United captain Roy Keane is urging youngster Alejandro Garnacho to display the bravery, courage and consistency required for a young player to thrive at Old Trafford.
Garnacho, who joined the club from Spanish giants Atletico Madrid in October 2020, has been United's breakout star this season, cementing himself as a regular fixture in manager Erik ten Hag's plans. He has racked up 20 appearances in total, scoring two goals and registering five assists.
He is considered as one of the most exciting young talents in the Premier League and United remain determined to tie him down to a new long-term contract. His current deal expires in 2025.

He has offered plenty of encouragement as this season has developed and as his appearance tally has increased, meaning United's supporters have quickly developed a fondness for his skilful and fearless style of play. He loves to get on the ball and run at opposition defenders.
Though he is doing that, former Reds star Keane is keen to see a consistent string of performances from the Argentine.
"Every player is so different," Keane told Sky Sports ahead of Wednesday night's clash with Nottingham Forest. "The fact he's so young and he's had more of an impact coming off the bench, so he'll be delighted to get his opportunity [starting vs Forest].
"If you want to be an attacking, young player for Man United, you've got to be brave, you've got to have courage, you've got to affect games when you get your opportunity, which is what we saw with this great finish late in the game [against Fulham in November]. As a young player he'll have to get more consistent.
"But listen, he's fantastic, and he's getting involved. That's what you want from any attacking player when he starts - he's getting assists, a few goals, he played a huge part in United's season [against Manchester City] - we talk about momentum turns - you wouldn't want to play against him, and he's exciting to watch. That's what United fans want to see."
