Roy Keane is "very worried" that Liverpool could seal a stunning quadruple by the end of the season as Jurgen Klopp continues to play it down.
The Reds are still competing on all fronts at the business end of the season with a Carabao Cup already secured. They're two points ahead of Manchester City at the top of the Premier League with a Champions League semi-final and FA Cup final on the horizon.
It seemed unthinkable that Liverpool could all the way in every competition they entered, but it's now a real possibility.
Jurgen Klopp has been coy about the situation but Manchester United hero Keane is concerned it could come to fruition for his former side's rivals.
He said on Sky Sports: "The big word in football is momentum and Liverpool have that. Liverpool over the next six weeks, who knows but I am very worried.
"You need a bit of luck, and you need a fit strong squad and Liverpool have that. They have all the momentum, but your next game is always as important as the next one and if they start to lose focus and take their minds off it."
Liverpool are thriving at the minute but Man United are the polar opposite with issues on and off the field as they search for a new manager with Erik ten Hag's arrival imminent.
The Red Devils still have a chance of sealing a top-four finish after Arsenal and Tottenham slipped up at the weekend. But Keane reckons it could end up saving what's been a disastrous season.
He added: "It has been a poor season, finishing fourth people are getting excited by that. They are in trouble, but this could be something that ends up saving their season. That could help with getting a new manager is, new players in and of course, United want to be in the Champions League every season."
Liverpool are on course to go two points ahead of City after going 3-0 up against United at Anfield thanks to goals from Luis Diaz, Mohamed Salah and Sadio Mane.
And Jamie Carragher reckons the trio who were included in Klopp's starting XI against United, are Liverpool's best front three.
He said: "Yeah, I think it is. For a while now it has been a little bit up in the air but he has changed it fantastically well at times, and I think to pick that front three at the weekend and then again tonight with that quick turnaround, I think that is the best front three."
"(Luis) Diaz coming in has changed the mood completely around Liverpool and has changed the squad strength. For me, right now, that is where Liverpool have the edge over Manchester City because of the options that they have on the bench."
