Roy Keane has revealed his 'beef' with Newcastle United legend Alan Shearer has spilled over from their playing days and into their pundity work.
The pair famously clashed on the pitch in the dying seconds of the Magpies' 4-3 home victory against the Premier League champions Manchester United in September 2001.
Keane petulantly threw the ball at Shearer's head after the number nine blocked a quick throw-in, before shoving the striker and slapping the yellow card out of the hands of referee Steve Bennett.

The Red Devils captain was jeered by the St James' Park crowd who applauded his red card, with full-back Gary Neville having to pull the Republic of Ireland international away from Shearer.
Newcastle's all-time record goalscorer later revealed Keane waited for him in the tunnel following the full-time whistle, although team-mates of both players prevented the bust-up from becoming physical.
Both players have gone on to forge careers as pundits following their retirement, and Keane was quizzed on whether any clashes from his playing days had been revived during his media work.
He told 'The Overlap Live': "Yeah, most weeks!
"There's one or two I've done games with where we couldn't get over that hurdle of what happened in the past."
When pushed by the audience to reveal a name, Keane simply said: "Shearer...forget it."

Host Josh Denzel then raised the prospect of a celebrity boxing match which brought a laugh out of the 50-year-old.
When fellow pundit Gary Neville said 'he'd do you', Keane seemed to accept defeat by answering 'he's younger than me, isn't he? I think he's a bit younger than me."
