Roy Keane names two Manchester United players who can 'hurt' Man City in FA Cup final

Former Manchester United captain Roy Keane admits that he is "worried" for his old club ahead of Saturday's FA Cup final against Manchester City at Wembley - but believes Bruno Fernandes and Marcus Rashford will cause them problems.

United will head into the showpiece event in the capital looking to bring the curtain down on a successful maiden season under manager Erik ten Hag by adding another trophy to their collection. They won the Carabao Cup final back in February, defeating Newcastle United 2-0, to clinch their first piece of silverware in six years.

Having followed up their Carabao Cup triumph by achieving a top-four finish in the Premier League, United will be able to reflect on this season with a smile, regardless of the outcome of this weekend's clash with City. However, with the Blues still in with a chance of clinching a famous treble, the Reds know there is more than just another trophy up for grabs.

City have been relentless in recent months and will head into the clash with United under the arch as favourites to add another piece of silverware to their collection. But as concerned as Keane is for Ten Hag's side, he believes they have individuals who can "hurt" City.

Keane, speaking on The FA Cup Special Overlap, in partnership with Sky Bet, said: "I am worried for Manchester United - Manchester City have dominated them for the past few years, but United have players like Bruno Fernandes and Marcus Rashford who can hurt City.

"Wembley, the atmosphere and the fact that United have been written off – it's dangerous."

United saw off Brighton at the semi-final stage back in April, winning on penalties after a goalless draw at the end of 120 minutes. The Seagulls, such was the form they were in at the time, were favourites for many, but the Reds got the job done to set up a first-ever all-Manchester FA Cup final.

"People were writing United off against Brighton as if United couldn't cope against Brighton, who were doing well at the time, but they turned up – and they get over the line in the big games," added Keane.

"They are a bit better [than they were], but on paper, City are favourites – but that just might suit United."
