Roy Keane makes 'shocking' comment about Nottingham Forest vs Aston Villa draw

Roy Keane has blasted the "real lack of quality" from Nottingham Forest and Aston Villa after their draw at the City Ground on Monday evening.

Forest and Villa shared the points in the Premier League clash, a result which lifts the Reds off the bottom of the Premier League table. Keane watched the game while working as a pundit for Sky Sports and had plenty to say after the match.

He went in harder on visitors Aston Villa, who he said had "no bottle" while giving credit to Forest for their "fighting spirit" during the match despite the sub-par standards on display from both teams on the night.

"The game, I thought, was really really poor," he said on Sky Sports' coverage of the game on Monday Night Football. "Shocking really, the quality. I think the supporters will be delighted that they (Forest) showed a lot of fighting spirit."

"But Ryan (Yates) mentioned there, they stopped the rot and will be delighted with a point but from Villa's point of view they didn't show...they've got no bottle that team. "For all their so-called attacking players, they didn't do enough to get a result today and will be kicking themselves.

"Overall I thought it was a really poor game, credit to Forest because they got something out of the game and maybe something to build on but there was a real lack of quality from both teams."
