Roy Keane has 'no sympathy' for Fulham after their implosion against Manchester United at Old Trafford on Sunday.
Leading 1-0 with 20 minutes to play, Willian blocked Jadon Sancho's goal-bound effort with his hand to deny a certain goal.
Before VAR could even get involved Fulham manager Marco Silva was sent off for protesting to referee Chris Kavanagh too strongly, while striker Aleksandar Mitrovic was also shown red after appearing to shove the referee.
Reduced to nine men and with their manager forced to wait in the tunnel, Fulham capitulated and eventually lost 3-0. Unsurprisingly, Keane wasn't impressed with how Fulham fell apart.
"A mad 90 seconds and it's cost them the game," said Keane who was appearing as a pundit on ITV.
"It wasn't necessarily about United winning, it was about Fulham finding a way to lose. I've no sympathy for Fulham.
"They won't get any plaudits from me. They had an opportunity and they blew it."
Fulham had started the game the better of the two sides and dominated for large portions of the game. And when Mitrovic put them in front in the 50th minute, it was fully deserved.
But that two minutes of madness from Willian, Mitrovic and Silva cost Fulham the game. With the West London side two men short, United bossed proceedings. Bruno Fernandes scored from the spot after Willian's handball before Marcel Sabitzer smartly flicked the ball beyond Bernd Leno to score his first goal for the club.
Fernandes bagged a double deep into stoppage time to put some gloss on a result that looked in doubt up until the red cards.
United will now play Brighton in the next round after their Evan Ferguson inspired 5-0 win over Grimsby Town.
