Roy Keane gives honest verdict about Erik ten Hag's Manchester United rebuild this season

Roy Keane has given his seal of approval to the work Erik ten Hag is currently doing at Manchester United.

Ten Hag endured a nightmare start to managing at Old Trafford when overseeing two embarrassing defeats at the beginning of the season, but his side has responded well in recent weeks and they have bounced back to win three consecutive matches.

United take on Arsenal on Sunday afternoon and they will head into the game with great confidence, despite Mikel Arteta's side having won each of their five Premier League matches so far and looking like genuine top-four contenders.

United could win four consecutive Premier League matches for the first time since April 2021 with a victory on Sunday and that highlights the work Ten Hag is doing, which is something Keane was asked about on Sky Sports.

Keane gave his seal of approval to Ten Hag and he praised the manager for naming an unchanged side for the Reds' wins.

"Yeah I do, the win against Liverpool has given them a big boost, he’s got a settled team - same starting 11 for the last three games," Keane said. "A couple of clean sheets, the last couple of performances haven’t been great, efficient, I like the look of the team now.

"United definitely look stronger, they have momentum, and there will be confidence in the team."
