Roy Keane, Gary Neville and Micah Richards give verdict on Pep Guardiola's Man City reign

Roy Keane, Gary Neville and Micah Richards have all given their verdicts on Pep Guardiola's time at Manchester City.

Guardiola has led City to three Premier League titles so far and could make it four on Sunday. The Blues just need to beat Aston Villa to secure the Spaniard's fourth title.

If they were to slip up and Liverpool beat Wolves then it would be the Reds who would snatch the title at the last hurdle. Ahead of kick off at the Etihad, pundits Keane, Neville and Richards all praised Guardiola's impact in Manchester.

Richards began on Sky Sports: "They [Klopp and Guardiola ] push each other on so much. When Pep first came in, people questioned him, could he play the Barcelona style here?

"He’s proved everyone wrong. He sticks by his principles and what he’s gone on to do is incredible.

"If Man City did win today, that’s four out of five. What they’ve done in the league is unquestionable, it’s absolutely brilliant."

Neville went on to add: "You find the right match of club and manager with a group of players. This is dominance.

"Four in five years would class as absolute dominance for English football over a period of time. An incredible achievement."

"Without a doubt [one of the best managers]," Keane concurred. "People will always argue he’s had a few bob to spend and he’s always working with top players.

"It’s just the way they play and how consistent they are. We see his interviews, his passion, he talks about players running, for all their technical ability, it’s what they do out of possession, that’s where I take my hat off to him.

"I can’t speak highly enough of him. I think the guy’s brilliant.

" City was a great fit for him. They need to get Pep on a long time contract."
