Roy Keane believes Burnley were "crazy" to sack Sean Dyche as the club's manager and says he has no sympathy with them getting relegated due to that decision.
Dyche was sacked as Clarets boss last month after ten years in charge at the club.
Mike Jackson took charge of Burnley until the end of the season and they picked up ten points in his opening four league games.
But they only managed to pick up one point from their last four games of the season, with a 2-1 loss to Newcastle resulting in them being relegated to the Championship after Leeds defeated by the same scoreline.
Keane believes Dyche would have done "a good job" if the club had stuck with him.
The Manchester United legend told Sky Sports: "Sean Dyche would have done a good job if he was given the opportunity until the end of the season.
"He's been there. He's done it. Him and his staff.
"And when he left they were saying 'oh there's been a reaction, there's been a reset' - rubbish.
"They paid a heavy price for it. They should have stuck with Sean Dyche - a proven manager, great quality, did a brilliant job. I have no sympathy for Burnley."
