Roy Keane suspects Paul Pogba will be out to attract suitors during the final months of his Manchester United contract.
The midfielder, 28, will be free to leave Old Trafford this summer six years on from his club-record £89million transfer from Juventus.
Pogba made his return to action in Friday night's FA Cup clash against Middlesbrough after three months on the sidelines with a thigh complaint sustained on international duty.
The Frenchman had a mixed season prior to his injury, grabbing seven assists in United's first four Premier League games before embarking on a lengthy drought without a goal involvement.
Pogba has been linked with Paris Saint-Germain and Real Madrid in the recent past, and Keane believes he could be motivated by reminding Europe's giants of his qualities during the run-in.

"How many times do you have to say about Pogba, an outstanding talent no doubt about it he's got the CV and the trophies to back it up," Keane told ITV Sport. "But in his time at United, I don’t think he's been consistent enough.
"A big few months ahead for him from a selfish point of view for him if he’s looking at moving. Or could he possibly be staying at Man United?
"We don't know with the manager but he's a talented boy but hasn’t done enough at Man United, he hasn’t been consistent enough."
Keane's suspicion about Pogba's motivations is shared by United interim manager Ralf Rangnick, who recently questioned the 2018 World Cup winner's dedication to the Red Devils.
"It’s not a question if a player has an expiring contract, the question is how much does he still want to be a part of this group, how much does he still feel emotionally and physically on board," the German said.
"As long as this is the case, why shouldn’t Paul Pogba now, after two and a half months of injury, fully fit again, and he wants to show the fans of Manchester United, the board, the whole world what kind of player he can be?
"Even if it’s only to show enough for a new contract elsewhere, he will be highly motivated to do that and why should I then not play him?
"But there is a difference in how players deal with their current situation. If they handle that in a professional way, an ambitious way, I will play players although they have a contract expiring in the summer."
During the closing stages of the transfer window, reports from France suggested PSG will focus their efforts towards signing Pogba in the summer.
