Route map of Queen's coffin as it heads to Windsor Castle from London

The Queen’s coffin is making its final journey to Windsor Castle following the state funeral at Westminster Abbey. Crowds of people are lining the route as the hearse makes its way out of the capital.

A service of committal will be held at St George’s Chapel at 4pm, which will be televised. Then the Queen will be buried during a private service in the evening, attended by senior royals.

The King and his siblings walked behind the coffin as it left Westminster Abbey following the state funeral, while other royals travelled by car. The procession arrived at Wellington Arch at the corner of Hyde Park, before the coffin was transferred to a hearse for the final part of the journey.
