Everything was going awry for SmU on Saturday.
The football team was down 14-0 in the first half.
Some of the biggest boosters for the team weren’t able to get to the game on time because their private jets were diverted to Williamsport with the State College airport packed.
And the SMU band might as well have played on a Zoom meeting from Dallas with the way they were placed in Beaver Stadium.
Penn State was about as inhospitable as it gets, sticking the SMU band in the nosebleeds at Beaver Stadium.
To make matters worse, the Mustangs trailed 21-0 in the first half.
