Wales star Ross Moriarty has withdrawn from the Dragons' pre-season friendly with Bristol Bears on Friday night for family reasons.
His partner Jordanna Williams is due to go into labour imminently, and Moriarty, who was named on the bench for the Rodney Parade clash, has now stepped back from tonight's game to be with her.
Ben Moa replaces Moriarty on the bench for Dean Ryan's men.
This was due to be Moriarty's first outing since recovering from knee surgery. He missed this summer's tour to South Africa as he continued his recovery at home.
Moriarty was injured in the first half of the Dragons' 51-3 defeat against Sharks in early April. He went under the knife to rectify the injury, but his comeback will now have to wait that bit longer.
