Ross Kemp looking for Belfast contestants to take part in new BBC quiz show

Ross Kemp is calling on “fun and determined” people in and around the Belfast area to apply for a brand new TV quiz show.

The BAFTA-winning actor and presenter will host The Bridge of Lies – the programme coming to BBC One.

The show promises both high drama and high stakes, and is sure to keep contestants on their toes, while always keeping their eyes on the prize.

Because contestants risk losing it all with each step they take.

The series sees teams competing for cash by crossing a bridge made up of stepping stones.

Each stepping stone has a different option, and the players must try to get from A to B by stepping on the truths and avoiding the lies in order to cross the floor safely.

It's either that, or they risk falling off the bridge and out of the game.

Ross Kemp said: “It’s fair to say I’ve found myself in some dangerous situations in recent years, so I reckon I’m well-prepared for the jeopardy of The Bridge of Lies – but the big question is, are you?

“We’re looking for fun and determined contestants to join us in the studio for this exciting new quiz show.

“There’s even a chance you could head home with the cash jackpot, but we’ll cross that bridge when we come to it – literally.

“This show is unlike anything you’ve ever seen before, and it’s sure to be a once-in-a-lifetime experience for anyone taking part.”

Filming starts in Glasgow later this year and the show will broadcast in Spring, 2022.

The show’s producers, STV Studios, are specifically looking for teams of four to get in touch.

The producers said: “Whether you’re family, friends or colleagues – if you have bags of personality and can think outside of the box, apply now.”

Applications close on November 5. To take part in The Bridge of Lies, email TBOLCasting@stv.tv .
