Rosanna Davison stuns in purple Zara blazer at charity campaign launch

Rosanna Davison was "proud" to step out in support of Cystic Fibrosis Ireland’s annual flagship fundraising drive 65 Roses Day.

The former Miss Ireland donned a stunning purple Zara blazer as she was snapped promoting the fundraising event which takes place on April 8.

Rosanna Davison and Ireland international and Munster Rugby’s Tadhg Beirne were there to pose for snaps with children with cystic fibrosis.

In line with the campaign's colours, Rosanna stunned in a purple blazer from Zara and black trousers from River Island.

Showing off her stylish ensemble on social media, the star revealed that she was "proud to help launch" the campaign yesterday.

She said of the 65 Roses Day campaign: "It's targeted to raise €350,000 to help fund essential services needed now more than ever by people with Cystic Fibrosis in Ireland."

She also explained to her followers one of the lesser known effects of Cystic Fibrosis, which she revealed to be infertility.

She said: "Without IVF, many people would be unable to start a family. Last year saw Cystic Fibrosis Ireland providing over €83,000 for fertility treatment."

She went on to explain that with this year's fundraising goal of €350,000, a portion of that target number will go to Cystic Fibrosis Ireland's Fertility Grant Scheme.

Rosanna ad her husband Wes Quirke suffered a staggering 14 miscarriages before welcoming Sophia Rose Quirke via a gestational surrogate in Ukraine.

The model and influencer has often spoken about the struggles of of not being the legal mother to daughter Sophia.

She said in October 2021: "Surrogacy is physically, mentally and financially draining. It’s usually the last/only option for an individual/couple to have a child."
