Rosanna Davison reveals she has met with I'm A Celebrity Get Me Out of Here! producers

Rosanna Davison revealed she met with I'm A Celebrity Get Me Out of Here! producers but said no despite admitting her love of the show.

It seems the former Miss World, 38, had been in high demand from UK television bosses, as she revealed she has also been in talks for BBC’s Strictly Come Dancing in the past.

She told Irish Daily Mirror: “I did meet with the I’m A Celebrity producers a long time ago, in 2009 I think it was or so.”

And whilst all eyes are on the reality show, currently starring Irish pop star Boy George, over the past few weeks, the busy mum-of-three under the age of three said she is too busy to reconsider an appearance in the jungle anytime soon.

“Probably not now, well, at this point…

“I’ve too many responsibilities at this point.”

She added that she has enjoyed watching the show over the years saying: ‘Because it is gritty, and it really challenges you, and challenges your fears whether it is insects or snakes.”

Asked if RTE’s Dancing with the Stars or BBC’s Strictly was ever on the cards for her, Rosanna explained: “Strictly… my agent in the UK was talking to them, but again it was a time when I wasn’t able to move over.

“They are big commitments, and I’m a brutal dancer,” she laughed.

On whether her younger, single self would have been interested in trying ITV’s other hit reality show, Love Island, had it been around before she found love, she went on: “Possibly, but it wasn’t around then.”

It comes as Rosanna, who was the first Irish woman ever to do Playboy, said she has no regrets looking back, and said she was glad she did it as she opened up about the time in her life.

The pageant queen also recalled her visit to the Playboy mansion, and described Hugh Hefner’s infamous Hollywood house as “cosy and “homely”.

Speaking on Angela Scanlon’s Ask Me Anything on RTE, she said: “We had dinner, not just me and him, there was a group of people there, and then we watched a black and white movie in his home cinema.”

She added: “I did have a peek around, I was very nosy. There were a few pictures of boobs on the walls, I will say that.”
