Rosanna Davison 'cried a little bit’ after leaving daughter at school gates for first time

Rosanna Davison admits she 'cried a little bit’ after leaving her daughter at the school gates for the first time.

She shared a sweet photo with her daughter to mark her first day of preschool. Rosanna admitted that she and husband Wes Quirke were the ones who were a little shaken after the experience - meanwhile Sophia took the experience in her stride.

Rosanna posted: "I can't believe the first day of school is finally here!

"We just dropped Sophia off and she was actually fine, she was really excited going in, cried a little bit as we walked away but to be honest I think I was a little bit more shaky than her. So hopefully she'll be fine.

“Anytime I feel a bit sad about the fact my baby started school I remind myself that I still have two one-year-olds at home so it's by no means going to be a quiet household!"

Rosanna shared a lovely memory board that she had written on for Sophia's first day, and held it in the photographs with her little one.

She added: "It's a special day for my baby girl and I'm trying to hold it together.” The wooden plaque listed what Sophia was most excited about and she said "new friends."
