Rosanna Davison calls beloved dad 'ledgebag' as she shares sweet birthday tribute

Dublin model Rosanna Davison called her dad a "ledgebag" as she shared a sweet video tribute for his birthday this weekend.

Rosanna's dad, iconic singer Chris de Burgh, celebrated his 74th birthday on Saturday and Rosanna marked the occasion by creating a special video for him. Taking to Instagram, the mum-of-three shared snaps and videos of her dad Chris from over the years.

The beginning of the video sees Chris playing his guitar and singing, to the delight of family members and friends. Rosanna also shared some pics of Chris when he was younger as well as some with his wife and her mum Diane Davison.

Kool & The Gang's song Celebration played in the background of the video and the former Miss World captioned the video saying: "Happy birthday to this ledgebag @cdebinsta (AKA Bambam to his grandchildren!)."

Fans and friends of Rosanna flooded her Instagram comment section with love for the post as they wished Chris a happy birthday. One follower said: "What an inspiring legend of a dad to have."

A second person commented: "Happy birthday King of the singers." A third said: "Congrats Chris hope you have a wonderful day, brilliant singer and man."

Also this week, Rosanna revealed that she was approached by MTV about a new reality show starring her family. Speaking to Goss.ie, the model and influencer explained that she and her husband Wes considered the opportunity but eventually turned it down.

The couple share three children – their daughter Sophia and twin boys Oscar and Hugo. 38-year-old Rosanna revealed at the Goss.ie Women of the Year Awards on Sunday: "I’ve been approached by the likes of MTV and shows like that [for a docuseries about our family], but we prefer to keep our children offline and not show them."

We want to respect their privacy until they’re a bit older. My husband is very private as well, he doesn’t tend to come to events like this. He stays at home the big dad."
