Rory McIlroy is chasing a huge payday as the Travelers Championship draws to a close on Sunday.
As a designated event on the PGA Tour, the prize fund for this tournament stands at a whopping $20 million, with the winner of the event guaranteed to take home a cool $3.6 million.
While McIlroy is nine shots off the lead and unlikely to win the event, he can still take home a huge chunk of the $20 million pot.

Sitting on 12-under, McIlroy is currently in 15th place on the leaderboard. Should he remain in this position, the World number three will take home a cheque for $365,000.
A top-10 finish isn't out of the question either and if McIlroy cracks the first page of the leaderboard come the end of play on Sunday, he will head home $545,000 wealthier at the very least.
It has been another frustrating weekend on the course for McIlroy who has failed to take advantage of the benign conditions at TPC River Highlands and is nine shots back from leader Keegan Bradley before a ball is hit on Sunday.
