Rory McIlroy and Padraig Harrington are primed to contend on the final day of the Alfred Dunhill Links Championship.
In one of the highlights of the DP World Tour calendar, McIlroy was playing alongside his dad Gerry as part of the Pro-Am.
And a final hole birdie meant Gerry and Rory will be around on Sunday.
Playing in St Andrew's, Rory shot a six under par 72 as he returned to the course which caused him heartbreak earlier this year in the Open.
But Rory showed why he has been so successful this year as he bounced back from an opening hole bogey to shoot six under par.
Padraig Harrington sits in 10th place alongside McIlroy as he continued his stellar form.
The three-time major win was also playing in St Andrews and shot a three under par 69.
But the pair are well off leader Richard Mansell with the Englishman who sits at 15 under par compared to the pair's seven under par.
Shane Lowry unfortunately could not surge up the leaderboard as he shot three under par.
The Offaly man is in 87th place.
