Rookie Europa League referee Damian Sylwestrzak will take charge of the match between Rangers and Union Saint-Gilloise.
The 32-year-old has only refereed two matches in the competition - both earlier this season in October.
But UEFA have selected the Polish official for the final league phase match at Ibrox on Thursday night.
Sylwestrzak refereed Olympiacos against Braga and Porto against Hoffenheim earlier this season. He dished out nine yellow cards across the two matches.
The referee will be assisted by a Polish team of officials with Pawel Sokolnick and Adam Karasewicz running the line.
