Rock icon Tina Turner has paid tribute to her son Ronnie, who has died aged 62 outside a Los Angeles home.
The tragedy comes just four years after Turner, known as the Queen of Rock 'n' Roll, lost her first-born son Craig to suicide.
A person made a 911 call on Thursday morning, US time, reporting Ronnie was outside their home and having a hard time breathing, according to police sources who spoke to TMZ.
Bystanders attempted CPR as paramedics rushed to the San Fernando Valley address — but he was pronounced dead at the scene.
Turner took to social media to pay tribute to her son.
"Ronnie, you left the world far too early," the 83-year-old said.
"In sorrow, I close my eyes and think of you, my beloved son."
Ronnie's wife Afida Turner also took to social media to express her heartache.
Shedding light on a possible cause of death, Afida wrote "f--- cancer" underneath a series of her favourite photos of the "terrific musician and bass player".
"… Ronnie got sick in 3 weeks," she posted to Instagram.
Afida described her husband as a true angel who was highly spiritual.
