Ronan O'Gara had a brutal reply to Alan Quinlan's plea to get his mother home from Munster's title-winning celebrations at Thomond Park.
Quinlan left his social media followers in fits of laughter as he pleaded with fans to send his mother home from the Limerick venue on Monday evening.
The Reds legend said his mam Mary only returned home from South Africa on Monday morning and reported she was "on the tear again" following the province's URC title win.
He tweeted: "If anyone spots my mum in Thomond park tonight. Tell her to go home she’s only back from Capetown this morning and on the tear again. She told me earlier that she was very tired and going to bed early and then I get sent pictures of her in the middle of it."
O'Gara was among those to reply to the tweet and he couldn't resist a laugh at his former teammate's expense.
He wrote: "Mary is more craic than you!!"
Responding to the La Rochelle head coach, Quinlan commented: "I was no craic because I’d to put you to bed every night."
Over 10,000 Munster fans were at Thomond Park on Monday evening to welcome home their heroes, who secured a first trophy in 12 years for the province on Saturday in Cape Town. The Reds ran out 19-14 winners over the Stormers.
