Ronan Keating shares he's getting a vasectomy after previous setback

Ronan Keating has revealed he is getting a vasectomy in two weeks' time.

Ronan and his wife Storm enjoyed a rare appearance together on the sofa on Chris and Rosie Ramsey’s BBC show. Ronan and Storm have been married for seven years and share two children together.

Ronan has three children, Jack, Missy and Ali with ex-wife Yvonne Connolly. The One show host appeared on the second series of the comedy show with his Australian wife on Friday night, where they spoke about their relationship and Ronan revealed he is getting the snip.

She said: "I'd have more children if I could. I'd have a football team. I'd keep going."

Ronan replied: "She says that but then she says 'right it's that time'.

"I've got the date locked in. It's happening. It's in the diary. What does it say in the diary," with Storm saying: "The snip".

The Boyzone singer said: "I've postponed it once. I went to the first consultation.. so I got that part done and this was difficult. My brother got it done and he's told me all sorts of stories so he was awake when he got it done and he said it smells a bit funny."

Ronan said there were other options of being knocked out and when he went in for the consultation, the doctor told he was going to have to knock him out because he was "too anxious".

"I'm going in. The date is set in two weeks time and I'm going to get knocked out. I'm going to do it," he added.

Speaking afterwards, Storm said: “Laughed so much my jaw still hurts!”

She added that both Chris and Rosie were the “funniest couple” she ever met.

“Chris and Rosie, you are next level! Wow what a brilliant team and show. We had so much fun with you both, thank you for the honour.”

Storm worked as a TV producer for some of Australia and the UK’s top entertainment shows before meeting Ronan on The Voice UK. In 2021, she told Loose Women that she doesn’t regret giving up her TV career because her family was her priority.

She said at the time: “When I first met Ro I was very independent and adamant I would stay in the workplace. When I moved to London I was working on The Voice UK and it was the first time I realised when children are involved sometimes your priorities have to shift

“Back then they were much younger this is 2012. They were all off to dinner one night and I was working late again and Ali said, ‘Is Storm coming? She’s always working. Why can’t she say she’s sick?’

“I got home at about 2am at night and Ronan told me this story and I just burst into tears. That’s when I decided, I’ll find something else.”

Realising that she now had a family to put first, Storm said: “My priority had to be those three kids and making sure we built that security for them.”

On whether she regrets giving up her career in television, Storm said that while she “misses” it, she knows she made the right decision.

“I miss working in television but I don’t regret it because I have a wonderful family,” she said, as she revealed she thinks of Ronan's children as her own.

“I absolutely adore them like my own. Earlier, I referred to them as my daughter or my kids and you had to clarify step kids and I’m like, ‘Oh that’s right! They are!’”
