The 23-year-old Irish hunk is set to join the cast of the hit ITV2 dating show as things heat up in Casa Amor. He will be hoping to turn the head of one of the current islanders.

His proud dad Ronan, who is world famous for his hit songs in Irish pop band Boyzone, shared a picture of Jack announcing he was going into the show.

The host of The One Show seems to be up for his son's turn in the spotlight. He wrote on Instagram: "Let's go."

Jack revealed his dad would be watching the show at home to see how he is getting on. Speaking about his famous dad, the social media marketer said: "Yeah my dad is a singer.

"He will be watching when I’m on it for sure. He’s buzzing for me, me and my dad are very close, we’re best mates."

He added that he is willing to split up the couples with "some good chat and a bit of Irish charm as well".
