Ronaldinho has thanked Kai Havertz after the Chelsea attacker revealed that the Brazil legend was the footballer he looked up to when he was a child. The Brazilian is widely recognised as one of the greatest footballers of his generation due to his trickery and dribbling ability on the ball.
It's no surprise that someone who is also tricky on the ball, like Havertz, looked up to Ronaldinho – who won the Ballon d'Or in 2005. When asked on a Twitter Q&A session: "Who did you look up to as a footballer growing up?", Havertz responded: "Ronaldinho!".
The Brazil and Barcelona legend then responded to the German, simply saying: "Thanks, my friend". If Chelsea can get a Havertz anywhere close to the level Ronaldinho played at during his career, then Thomas Tuchel will be ecstatic.

One thing Havertz does have in common with Ronaldinho is that he's a man for the big occasions. Havertz scored the winning goal in the 2021 UEFA Champions League final and then followed suit in the FIFA Club World Cup final the next year.
Speaking to Chelsea's official website earlier this year, Havertz said: "Naturally, I want to be able to show my qualities during such moments because everyone is watching. There's probably also been important games where I did not perform well.
"But people seem to remember the games where I played well, where I scored. At the Club World Cup, it was a rather difficult game and, in the first 117 minutes, I didn't play my best game. But nevertheless, people now remember the winning goal – the penalty.
"I simply try to stay calm during such important moments and just focus on myself and simply enjoy what I am doing. Otherwise, when you're 35 years old one day, you may ask yourself: 'Why didn't I enjoy that moment more back then?' or: 'Why didn't I stop and take a breath back when I took that penalty' and thought: 'Wow! Awesome, you're standing here, and people are watching you, just enjoy this.' That's why I try to enjoy those moments as much as possible."
